Singles Ministry

Who We Are and What We Do

TMC Open Doors Single Adult Ministry is committed to reaching the community of single and single-again adults. We are referring to unmarried adults, ages 25 or older. We also provide ministry in practical ways on and off the TMC campus that will address the spiritual, educational, relational, and social needs plus any unique challenges that confront the community of single and single-again adults. Some of these needs and unique challenges include: Myths/Misconceptions, Sexuality, Grief Recovery, Dealing with Change, Loneliness, Divorce Recovery, Dating/Dating Again, Career Directions, Single Parenting, Managing Money, The Blended Family and Forgiveness (self and former spouse).

Mission Statement

Singles and Single-Again Adults Rejoicing in Righteousness and Restoration through Fellowship.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide unconditional love and acceptance, as well as opportunities to meet Jesus which is something that secular singles groups differ from Christian ministries in that Christ's love and salvation are not talked about; to promote healthy friendships between the genders by providing an atmosphere of acceptance and openness where people can discover others with the same experiences, hopes, and hurts. Because of this commonality, there is a dynamic that fosters spiritual, emotional and relational growth that will be nurtured in a Christian context.

Foundational Scripture

"In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you." Isaiah 54:14
