Michael G. Cleveland Jr. (Bio)
The below scripture (Proverbs 3:5-6) is the mantra for the ministry of Pastor Michael G. Cleveland, Jr. A St. Louis native, growing up in the Walnut Park neighborhood, Pastor Cleveland received the Lord Jesus as his Savior at the age of thirteen. From that moment he encountered life filled with God-blessed experiences. After attending and graduating from Parkway North High School, he attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. For twenty-six years, Pastor Cleveland was employed with the American Red Cross, working his way up from part-time maintenance man to Blood Manufacturing Lab Manager. In 1994, Minister Michael Cleveland united with Trinity Mount Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Charles M. Roach. On January 27,1996 Pastor Michael married the love of his life Audra J. Cleveland. In this blended union seven children were brought together and reared into adulthood by the grace and mercy of the Lord. Under Pastor Roach’s teaching and spiritual fathering Pastor Michael and Audra were licensed and ordained into the ministry of the Gospel with an emphasis in the areas of pastor/teacher and administration. They were given the spiritual names of Aquila and Priscilla upon their ordination, highlighting their unique partnership in ministry. Before being named the pastoral successor to his spiritual father, Pastor Dr. Charles M. Roach, Pastor Michael served as chairman of the Trustee Board and served as the Sunday school teacher for the teens and lead servant for the teen church. Pastor Michael has a passion for bringing spiritually lost men and women into the Kingdom of God through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Making Disciples Matthew 28:18-20).
